Kampuchean Buddhist Society and Watt Khmer Metta is a not-for-profit religious organization and culture center built and supported by the Cambodian people of the state of Illinois and other states in the country.

Watt Khmer Metta is open to the Cambodian people and other Buddhist of all ages that seek worship of the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha. The temple is a place called home, away from home for its older members  it is also the place where Cambodians come and meet each other during the Khmer New Year, Pchum Ben and other traditional ceremonies. For the younger generation it is a place to learn about the Cambodian culture and Buddhism.
